The Old Schoolhouse is a comfortable family home set in a beautiful, rural position with outstanding views over Bennachie, Aberdeenshire's favourite and iconic hill.

There are many glorious walks in the area and other outdoor activities such as mountain-biking trails. For those with an interest in Scottish history there are several National Trust properties, stone circles and carved Pictish stones within easy reach. The wonderful gardens of Crathes Castle are half an hour away. There are some excellent golf courses in the vicinity.

In nearby Inverurie, there is an excellent range of shops, restaurants and a monthly Farmer's Market (second Saturday of each month). Local distilleries welcome visitors on the Whisky Trail. The rivers Don and Urie are close by for fishing and the comfortable and elegant Pittodrie House Hotel is two miles away. The busy granite city of Aberdeen is within an easy 40 minute drive and Aberdeen Airport is 20 minutes away.

The house is all on one floor and comprises three double bedrooms, a spacious living room, a large family kitchen, shower-room and a large south facing conservatory for dining and relaxing. Furnishings and decor are an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique. It is set in two and a half acres which includes an established garden with mature trees, areas to sit and enjoy the views and a paved patio for barbecues.
